Depends. If Putin drinks polonium tea soon, I see Russian Oblasts and autonomous republics breaking away and a Russian Civil War breaking out. Kaliningrad will likely become an independent nation and Tuva will get absorbed by China. This will stave off WW# for a decade.
If Transnistria is used to attack Ukraine, it will pull Moldova into the war, which will draw the rest of Europe in and elicit a NATO action, starting WW# very soon after.

WW3 is not on the cards until russia finishes the Satan 2 unstoppable missiles currently due August (expect delays) Starting January or so there is definitely a chance for a russian first strike.
Europe will be totally fucked, UK wasted, bot US coasts will suffer. Retaliation "should" wipe out most of russias western front, but that is not a great outcome. There is also a non zero chance for a nuclear winter that fucks up things for everybody.
All of this for what? for ukraine? fuck them. They should have never let this war start and they need to beg for peace on their knees, which would happen if nato stopped propping them up

Of course they will. Haven't you noticed that Poland is the only NATO member with a large number of modern tanks? They expect you to fight a tank war against Russia. They don't have enough tanks to reinforce you if you lose your tanks, but they'll provide air support.
