A few months back I saw an user post something about the glow-in-the-darks attempting to derail Any Forums and their memes to no avail. The user mentioned how they didn't know what to do and resorted to tactics such as making Pepe the frog seem gay to limit the popularity of it. I want to know more about these attempts, if you have any relevant information on the subject I'd appreciate anything you could tell me.

Typical behavior of the "Emperor's Men" trying to dilute information generated by the masses. Any Forums is no different from the local taverns back in the day. See, the emperor hates the gossip but he also benefits from it. The tavern may be onto the Emperor's crimes and will expose them once in a while but the emperor has to play it smart because if he was to react and arrest the Whistle-blower, he would only be affirming that what they said was true. So the only way the emperor can really hide his crimes in the Tavern is if he sends his men in there to make up bogus stories and thus throwing people off. For example, the Emperor could be molesting children, this prompts his men to start making accusations like "he's a demon from space because that's what we know demons from space do!" The accusation is so absurd that we begin to not only deny that the emperor is a demon from space but that he also is not a child molester. That's what federal bureaucrats are doing right now on the board. The reason it stays is the same reason the emperor keeps the tavern: there is information that can be beneficial for the Empire within the Tavern. This is because the gossip isnt only done about the emperor but his enemies as well. This is why both Any Forums and the "tavern" don't get shut down, because the tradeoff is obviously worth it especially when the emperor's men can successfully throw a red herring and the people follow.
Right now though, the Empire is collapsing so the Emperor's men can't keep up with their bogus psyops. When the Empire runs out of food and fuel, its people are done with it - that is objective and a static consequence for empires when they have no means of feeding its people. The glowies need to keep the people in the Tavern away from this revelation as much as possible or else the whole thing collapses which can not only jeopardize their jobs but their lives.
