The parts of Germany that were given to Poland were colonised by eastern Poles who were expelled from their homes in the modern day Ikraine and Belarus. No. Prussia was the continuation of the Teutonic Knights. They were the anti-Slav. Modern historians like to prattle on about the battle of Grundwald and make out like a pan-Slavic union ended Germanic Christianity, when in reality the effects of Grundwald were reversed in 5 years and the transition of a military order of knights into the most effective military state in history took place. They were literally the Teutonic (GERMAN) knights. Albert of Prussia was the grand master of the order, he converted to Lutheranism and transitioned the region from a monastic state to the Duchy of Prussia. It remained German. They remained the bulwark against the East.

Aye because Poland was Catholic and also majority German back then. I am just pointing out the modern historians pretend the Teutonic Knights disappeared after that battle and go out of their way to distort the direct line from the Teutonic Order to the Prussian state.
