Why are there so many "cities" in America with tiny populations?

Desu, I live in a "village" in Wisconsin with almost the same population as that "city"
Seems a bit odd
Different definition of city
cant be a city with a population that size.
checkmate britbong.
because the people trying to disarm, confine, starve, monitor and torture us need us to think that cities are good and hive dwelling citizens are superior
>people move to area for thing some time ago
>some put down roots while working
>more people come in to support (profit off of) residents
>shit keeps growing over the years
Not like the romans were about poking us with sharp sticks telling us to stay in the swamps nigel.
keep copium posting from your big shithole mate
checked and have another
read a map
Posting in comfy thread
thats part of the reason why euro fags think public transport would work and wouldnt be a big money hole they think every us "city" has 50k+ people in it
lol get fucked hans youre just mad its gonna be a long cold winter for you with your reliance on russian gas as well as your crumbling eurocuck currency
How does one discorporate a city?
And to think, that's mostly mexicans
No, it's mostly Navajo injuns
at least I don't have to worry to be stabbed in my small town, have fun with your sand niggers
a brown girl just stabbed someone in broad daylight in my extremely white city
It's this. City and county are for some reason interchangeable in most places here and usually signify a difference in how the municipal govt operates
I live in a unincorporated town of 700
Smaller communities are comfy. A lot of space so they were creating new when current was to tiresome
I love little towns like this. You might have to drive a few miles if you want groceries, but your mortgage is pennies, you have no noisy neighbors or traffic, the night sky is pristine, and you can almost guarantee there will be no niggers.
a city is a chartered municipality, has nothing to do with population though it's a decent structure for a larger one
look up "port deposit, maryland."
in europe you would never find cities with
Isn't the Vatican it's own country?
they need more immigrants
its a city-state
apparently your city wasn't white enough faggot
Where I live (Saskatchewan) there used to be towns everywhere. Many still exist of course. I Think towns used to be spaced close enough that a horse could ride to the next one in a day
so basically what you are saying is that you are based? is that what you are saying user?
I'm genuinely curious, are you able to type "adolf hitler was a great man" or does the government automatically come after you if you post it
For better or worse most definitions that have rules associated with them in Europe have no such rule in the US. Massive suburban sprawls might have 75k people in them but if they never incorporate on their own or get annexed they're often just a "census designated place". Meanwhile if some tiny former farming village wants to incorporate and call itself a city, usually nothing is stopping them. I can see how Europeans see this as inefficient and against logic, and I guess it is, but nowadays I value every bit that the government doesn't have more power.
You don't need to live ass to ass with 9 million other people
doesnt really matter, across all of europe you dont get these cities with 1-10k people
"City" as a legal term is different under different legal systems, retard.
nigger britain is one of the most densely countries in the western world
The jobs were outsourced. It killed towns everywhere. I bet if you went there you’d find some sort of gigantic factory that hasn’t been used in decades.
Lol
Lmao
>captcha: KHGAS
*densely populated
Sometimes these places had larger populations and shrunk over the years. There's at least one town with a population of 1. The woman who lives there elects herself mayor every four years and runs the bar on the highway that runs through town.
Sounds like you should get the fuck out of crumpetland. Surely there's a comfy little township somewhere around there.
probably not automatically. Some nigger has to report it to them, I guess.
It's not a city. It's a big town.
Fishing A salt tournament there this weekend desu
Most states don't have official population bands that distinguish between villages, towns, and cities.
Don't think I wouldn't have, faggot
by definition its a city though. its like these retards who are adamant Brooklyn is a city, when its not. its a borough.
>across all of europe
>?
farandwide.com
>towns
you failed at the first hurdle chang
Uk is filled with small cities wtf are you talking about?
bc some amerimutt would be anything but laughed at in Germany lol
Because no one owns the houses there, it's all corpo landlords with no humans.
They're generally in the same metro as a much larger city, but want to keep a separate school district or want to have something different.
I looked it up and there's about 70k~ in this general area, which would be consolidated into a larger city in most other countries. Each of these places have no real distinction and have 7-9k people.
City = Moscow
Everything else = village
