What is with you Eurofags and tollbooths?

We got rid of ours years ago. Yet over there, there are millions of them everywhere you go. I don't understand why, even with taxpayer funded dollars, you are forcibly stopped until you give those thieves your money right then and there. At least over here, you are simply billed at a later date, if at all, if you don't have a transponder or not have enough money.

How exactly do you Eurofags cope with stopping and giving those thieves in government your ransom before being allowed to drive a little more and being forced to pay them again, all while having an increase in car accidents? We used to cope with it, but now we refuse to go back to it.

ATS is better mate

the roads are not funded by taxpayers.

toll roads are funded by the tolls, buitl by private companies (with govt approval)

this is called "capitalism".

I spent 4 realtime hours on a delivery from Istanbul, Turkey to Seville, Spain last night. If it wasn't the tollbooths that was infuriating me, it was the border crossings between Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania.

Turkey has the worst border crossings.

what are you hauling there, trucker?

That was from a previous playthrough from last week. I forgot what I was delivering, but Portugal has the worst tollbooths, since they are too damned narrow and damages your truck no matter what.

Also, why do I have a feeling that both Texas and Montana aren't going to be released at all? It's been over a year, no new announcements.

Also, keep this about tollbooths. This isn't Any Forums.

Kek i honestly kept my deliveries in scandinavia since i can buy an insulated double trailer cause then i can move vaxxes and medical equipment, pays heavy cash per km kek
But i settled on ATS because i like conventional trucks more and the landscape is better for me.

I have actually driven in Portugal - the booths are not that narrow, but I agree the charges are high. you can go by the country roads instead, but they are crap in many places.
capitalism. just like the Libertarians and AnCaps dream about.
why are you complaining? you a commie?

How high?

that's just france, and some random country in europe, their politicians doesn't know how to capitalize money so they let private corporation owns their road system. I prefer shitty roads than seeing taxes goes into a parasite's pockets.
