I highly doubt it considering the rich and industrial parts of germany have always historically be the celtic/catholic parts (rhineland+south)
but then again the nazi movement was strongly associated with protestant and north germany so it wouldnt surprise me that much if they shifted industry to concentrate it in their main powerbase, but still I'd like to see a source for that
