yeah the one drop rule is true you can by pure chance get blue eyes if your parents were mixed race or your ancestors had blue eyes at one point recessive genes tend to have more endurance you can't easily erase them from the gene pool even if dominant genes have higher chance of been picked you still carry the reccessive gene inside you
