Why is the new digital USD going to be like

>Complete economic control by US Government. They will know exactly how much money you have, every transaction you make, and exactly when you make it
>Adding expiration date on money to keep you from saving your way out of poverty.
>Can place limits on what type of transactions you can make. Said "nigger" online? Sorry, can't buy guns or video games for 30 days.
>Can control how much of something you can buy. Trying to prep? Sorry, you went over your 30 allowance for canned good purchases.

>expiration date on money to keep you from saving
Why would you just keep the money in your checking account so that inflation eats it up instead of buying bonds?

And you thought the government would just sit back and watch instead of trying to derail the whole effort?

Good now you’ll finally pay the child support you owe your ex wife. Tyrone and her have been struggling

Our currency is already just numbers in a database. How is this different? There's no problem a cryptocurrency-like scheme can solve for them that couldn't be solved some other way.

So you have something liquid in the event of a financial crash. Like right now.

it depends on how the ledgers are setup. I highly doubt the US will let any other country control any. Which is exactly why this is a stupid idea. No one in their right mind is going to use this currency unless they're forced at gun point. No one that is not a US citizen will use this. So why are they even making it?

Because right now its numbers in a database at your private bank. This will make every single transaction go through validation at the fed. Its basically like if you paid cash at the grocery store, and a federal agent stood there verifying the transaction was legal.

You actually think the government knows the serial numbers on every dollar bill in every wallet?

>Unless its at gunpoint
Which it will be. That's why the article is the Fed begging Congress for legislation. They will make it illegal to barter in other forms of currency. They will regulate US companies so that they can only deal in this, even when dealing with foreign customers.

they could just make the banks do that instead of redesigning the entire financial system. Hell make it a requirement for FDIC insurance and you probably don't even need Congress to get involved

it will be worthless, productive people are leaving the US economy like never before, and it will only accelerate from here
There will be a parallel economy for the people who reject the Beast, and the Fedcoin economy will have 100 million people demanding gibs
An ounce of gold will trade for 5 million Fedcoin in no time

>surely the solution to government is to route all my transactions through internets that route to NSA by default

Nope, because not everyone uses a bank and that only catches digital transactions. They want to eliminate cash.

Yeah let's give these assholes who fucked everything up even more control

What will glowniggers do once replaced by ai?

>bonds
When's the last time bond growth has actually beat inflation rates?

Okay, grandma. That $1000 CD will pay out a whopping $10 over the next decade.

Are they gonna let me pay my drug dealer?

It was a total coincidence that we were studying coronaviruses when COVID hit, goy.
