He's the second most entertaining commentator but he just seems really amateur. I appreciate his perspective but it seems like it's not informed by much information but instead his principles being applied to whatever the subject is. That's a criticism I could make of the whole show, they need some kind of credentials, at least a history degree or something among the pack. I respect them as commentators and I enjoy the show a few nights per week but they are really lacking in terms of concrete knowledge. If they let their guests speak more it would help solve the problem.

Sometimes he asks these bright eyed theoretical questions to guests who work with programming/AI and you can tell they're trying to politely tell him that's not how things are. Then will stick to his guns about "well this is how a REAL AI will ultimately work in the future", sort of skipping over the real information and continuing along with his theory.

I mean they are all reasonable personalities for "rebel media" but they don't even come from industries. They all have their own personal projects and they work within a framework that lets them indulge themselves but it seems like they are kind of spinning their wheels because they don't really have any background, with the exception ironically being Lydia since she is kind of their IT person/cameraman and she actually knows about that subject. Tim is good at running the show and it seems like he has good ideas for growing their organization, but he needs to guide the show and let more people with expertise contribute more of the dialog. Seamus is a great color contributor but he also is really stuck in his side of politics and uses that to guide his input rather than details and facts about the subject. Ian and Luke are the most amateur of the pack although they can be funny. The biggest issue is that no one on the show contributes more actual information than your average user could, with the exception of the guests they bring on, but they are really really bad about giving the guests chances to give input. If it's a guest who is working at a company or is an expert in a field then tailor the topics to allow them to give more input. If the guest is gonna be someone like Jamie kilstein, have him take Ian's place for that show, because he doesn't actually have anything to add to the conversation.
