I'd say about 30 or 40 years realistically to reach today's level of tech. But by then America will have moved on. Whether or not they can fully catch up, I don't know.
60 years in secret tech, possibly more.
10-20 years in conventional tech (jets, tanks, etc.).
Really far in some area. But depend on how important this area. Basicly china is developing country. need more time to develop. I mean is obviously is only progress 40 years. So is still far in some area.
