old old tractors are the best. you can repair them and they are good as new. will out live civilization probably. I think everyone should be buying used and partially broken stuff to force yourself to learn to repair them. but you are right. some stuff IS expensive no matter what. but so is consoooming. a 40 year old boomer has been blowing 20 years of money on bs. you think that if he saved every penny of that and bought stuff every couple of years might be preferable? and okay even than there is just stuff that you would need to work a long time to get. that is where your family would come in. because they SHOULD already own that shit. you know the whole generational wealth thing. but of in course today's society. your parents will probably leave nothing of value on to you. because they were too busy telling you to get a job and start consooooming. because otherwise you are not really a man if you are not consoooming.
