Why is it so hard for people on the right to understand that the vaccine for covid was never actually meant to prevent you from getting covid itself but to keep you from getting severe covid or long covid?
I have a couple of friends who always lose their minds when someone who was vaccinated gets covid but like that's exactly how it was designed dummies.

I had family and co-workers panicked out of their fucking minds when they found out I wasn't vaccinated. "But you'll dieeeeee!", and "Why don't you trust the doctors?" over and over.
What a surprise - I never got vaccinated, and since my survival rate was only 99.995%, I never got sick or died. I even managed to survive the "Winter of Death" Biden warned me about, after he tried to get me fired via business vaccine mandate.
Watching 50% of society flip from "OMG LOCK IT DOWN" to "I've had enough, let's get back to normal" was probably the sweetest validation I've ever felt in my life. The fucking vaxx-pushing nutjobs at my job won't even discuss COVID anymore because they are so embarrassed at their own behavior for the past two years.
