What bird flies that fast?

No joke saw a ufo in 07 or 08 followed by black helicopters. Thing was huge covered in what appeared to be paneled lights. It moved in a way where it was hard to determine its distance or scale. Would get really small then really really big quickly made no noticable noise from my distance. Hard to tell if the lights were even attached to it. It looked reflective almost. There you go now the void has that.

What are they? Alien craft
Why does no one care? Cause they are either in denial, thought they've been there for a while, or the fact that it effects their life so little means the fact that we aren't alone doesn't matter to them.
Ideas/Theories? Besides being alien craft, nothing else seems to make sense. Every other explanation seems orders of magnitude more unlikely.

I was on a plane in 2012 from WI to a place in the midwest. We were roughly above Chicago when I saw some "black figure" thing flying at a ridiculous speed towards our plane and then suddenly veer off away from the plane perpendicularly. I thought it was some sort of "Ironman" type suit, but it was all black (like zero reflection) with a black cloud trail behind it. I was freaking the fuck out thinking it was a terror attack or something and almost started jamming the call attendant button and start shouting, but I was afraid I'd get Air Marshalled or some shit for being schizo. I used to have a shitty grainy photo on my Palm Pre, but I lost it a long time ago. There was a public congressional hearing on it (US congress, you can stream it). Basically they said 2 things:
1. We are taking it seriously as having rouge aircraft in the US airspace and in US military airspace/training space is dangerous.
2. "We'll answer that in the classified part of this hearing" Massive disappointment. There was nothing really interesting in the public hearing.
In the hearing, they said the government had a database of about 400 instances of a UAP (UFO by another name). Each instance was either observed by a government pilot or picked up with some sensor (e.g. radar). The lack of any clear evidence besides blurry photos makes me think its 90% bigfoot tier shit and 10% experimental aircraft that are super classified.

UFOs and aliens has been a multi trillion dollar business.
