During the middle ages the region of poland and the baltic were all pagan slavic tribes/small kingdoms, Poland didn't exist yet
The polish kingdom was originally a pagan slavic one, but the King accepted to convert to christiandom after he was bribed by the emperor of the HRE
Later the polish king and HRE king asked an order of crusader that had failed a crusade to help them pacify the baltic tribes to their north who refused their rule
Then a few thousand years later the baltic people revolted, the teutonic niggers were slaughtered, and prussia was split between Poland and the Magravate of Bradenburg, which would later become the state of prussia, which is the famous military dictatorship that conquered all of germany, started all wars in europe and created the bolsheviks
But back then it was just a tiny slavic german ruled Elector in the HRE
