Isn't the countryside full of Kibbutzim? They're historically left wing I'm pretty sure. Additionally bigger cities are bigger targets for "terrorism" by palestinians so big cities tend to vote right wing because they emphasise security. The exception is settlements which vote right wing in large and small settlements, but mostly for the same reasons.
