Zoomers dont remember how comfy the sun was in the 80s. Its whiter and more harsh now. It was more mellow and yellow back then, unironically. Back then, we had SPF 3, 5, 8 and 10. And if you looked hard you could find 15, which was so super powerful that you wouldnt get any sort of tan at all if you put it on and went to the beach at the ocean. Today they have spf 50, even spf100, and you pretty much dont see spf5 sold anywhere.
