Uhh nope. I just left this year, you're not really going to make it in modern America unless you're already rich, and good luck trying to find a decent place to live that isn't a ghetto or full of unbearable demographs. Economy, politics, housing market, jobs, everything is going down the drain. If you are actually serious about moving, look for some other place in Europe. Too many foreigners mistake modern America for '80's- early 2000's America and the two are complete opposite ends of the spectrum now. I don't hear someone unloading a firearm every other night now, and I'm not kidding about that

This is a really bad time to consider this.
If you move to the US you need to live in rural areas or good suburbs to avoid nogs. It's pretty comfy here though. I live between dayton and cincinnati and I haven't seen a minority in months.
here's an honest opinion. I lived for 10 years in boston but traveled all over the country.
It's not really an upgrade compared to western europe, but if you can tolerate it for some time, I would recommend you do it because there is really a lot more money to be made there.
If you plan to just stay there forever, I would say don't do it.

Unless you have a guaranteed high paying job that will allow you to live in a lily white area or if you're not against blue collar work and don't mind living in a rural area there's no reason to come here. You basically can't live in any big city without being exposed to the worst elements of this country on a daily basis.
