How did we go from Babylon having having pet dragons the size of dogs to there being no mythical creatures and the world void of any mystery? I got the real Jeeper Creeper following me around on the highway in New Mexico. He's got an old timey horse trailer he hauls around shaped like an old trail wagon and it says "Race Horses" on the back. Well, you might not be able to confirm anything from sitting behind a screen, but you absolutely can confirm it with some grit and luck. Unfortunately, the monsters out there are shrouded in myth so it can be a bit hard to discern their actual abilities. Once upon a time, the gorilla itself was regarded as a myth and the natives in Africa said it could shape shift. Now that we know gorilla’s aren’t a myth, we can firmly say the shape shifting isn’t true. But for things we still widely regarded as myth? Who can say.
