I got off the phone with my father who's a boomer and he tells me we need cars and oil and gas to make the country operate and not to use any renewable natural clean ways of making society sustainable and clean and operational for future generations.
The synthetic foods you eat from fast foods and insta noodles or the likes are non renewable and will never be replenished or reproduced from nature. Anything you have to make from modifying chemicals and getting technical is an unsustainable way for any civilization to live.
My best guess is oil and coal and other not renewable resources become extinct and were gonna have to eventually live like the aztecs of tenochtitlan did, building on lakes and ponds and collecting peoples to fertilize chinampa farms.

The biggest problem with green energy is that solar and wind are not in areas of population. Take Germany for example, they built out 150% capacity in wind and solar but it only produces 7% of their energy because germany is not windy or sunny. Green tech will never work there, they have now been forced to burn lignite, which is dirtier than coal, to make ends meet because the Green Party has run on denuclearization since the 70s and can’t reverse course as stupid as the decision is. So we need oil and coal until battery tech advances enough to make 90% nuclear and 10% wind and solar a viable option

Most of current green tech is not actually green. It's just another form of virtue signaling and a way to get government subsidies. All while you're offloading pollution and production costs to all those dirty backwards second and third world countries. there not. you are just too dumb and think that type of society is already sustainable in any fashion based on our current technology. fun fact though it's not, unless you kill globalism overnight and go back to almost all locally produced goods and raw materials. and have things like timed black outs during the night time, etc. see the thing is though that even then many conservatives would be OK with it and going back to living basically off the land in small communities but lefty liberal loons would lose their fucking minds if the TV and computer had to be shut off every day from 6pm to 6am, etc. also the 'green technology' we have now is a total fucking joke which is just selling a fictional idea of 'green' and it's in no way better for the environment in any capacity than existing technology
