The military spent $100,000 on this bike and then put it in a location where it could be stolen instead of on a secured military base. No wonder our armys budget is so bloated. Doesnt even have GPS to track down the thief but at least they have a photo to know what he looks like.
it's probably machined from aircraft aluminum or some shit, which brings it to 20k, the rest is bureaucracy

It picks up any spare change it comes across using its demonic aura.

a hammer costs $500 when the military buys it, our best and brightest

I'm offended that they showed an image of the suspect. Very racist
Cameron Lee
is it made out of gold and sculpted by michelangelo or what
Brody Murphy
Bro even the fanciest, tour de france bikes are 'only' like $20,000 and weigh less than a newborn puppy. I know exactly how our military got a bicycle up to $100,000 and it fucking sickens me. I FUCKING HATE GREED KIKES AND THE MI-C
Robert Ortiz
>100K bike >doesn't have GPS tracking or a fucking lock lmao
Bike - 5K to produce Tell Americans it's 100K Israel pockets 95K
Easton Roberts
Even as a bikefag who doesn't bat an eye at $15k bikes, what the FUCK makes this $100k?
Jonathan Perez
>Basketball flooring fix $150K >bicycle $100k
what is their problem?
Luis Gonzalez
pallet of bottled water for the iraq and afghanistan wars cost over $2,000 each. thats about 20 cases of bottled water. say 32 bottles in each case.
The "defense" industry sucks an unimaginable amount of tax funds, which is one reason the leaders of USA want constant wars. All the weapons being given to Ukraine right now are immediately processed for replacement and the "defense" industry it billing the government for each one.
Aaron Stewart
Convenient how as soon as the US announces a new mainline rifle (the SIG) we suddenly have a reason to start shipping out tons of weapons to 'allies'
Lucas Hughes
That just looks like a standard $149 POS bike to me.
This. The Navy pays 10k+ for routers and switches that are 10 fucking years out of date. We "spend" a lot of money but it's because the Military pays over triple what shit is actually worth.
Logan Ortiz
Ngl as a white man if the governments making mistakes like this well maybe niggers really should be taking that bullshit away from them.
Jordan Miller
Lmaooo that piece of shit isn't worth 100k. I wonder where the money went
Hudson Bennett
On what planet is a pallet of bottled water only 20 cases? When I worked retail is was 80 some odd.
Levi Davis
Because the military paid a team of people to engineer and construct an AWD bicycle back in 1996. The military didn't buy into it, and so the company sold the bike off. Collectors pay a big premium for military prototypes of all sorts of things, for whatever reason. Think the guy who developed the Pancor Jackhammer was trying to sell it for 500k or so, though that would have been a better deal.
Jason Ross
Thats how we do things in the west, I understand that 100k is worth three years of supply for the entire russian army though.
