It's impossible for a non-Jew to move to Israel without marrying an Israeli. legally it's possible, but you have to jump through so many hoops that it's more trouble than it's worth.

The hurdles are the thing that stopped me. I don't know how it is in America but here the only Israeli work visas that were available were only for Jews.
If you're into farming then your next best bet would be to volunteer on a Kibbutz but that only lasts for about 6 months and the pay isn't great.
