it's a pretty big deal that the american army has a massive institutions designed to mind break and turn into obedient zogbot slaves tens of millions of americans every generation, they don't contribute to a good army at all, just a mindless, fearful, and obedient one, which is probably a big reason americans have been losing so many wars

In afghanistan the daily routine of american soldiers was getting yelled at by their superior officers, being forced to clean toilets ar 4 am, sleeping 3 hours per day, and having no goal in their mind other than try to sleep more, go back home, and avoid the wrath of their officers.

I wasn't deployed to Afghanistan, but I was deployed to Iraq. It was nothing like that. Filipinos cleaned everything and did everything. Also, there is very little yelling once you get out of basic training.

Afghanistan was the one place during my time in the army where the dumb shit was at a minimum. Maybe it’s because I was an infantryman on an outpost for my whole tour, but when we weren’t on patrol or guard duty we weren’t fucked with. Other than whenever we had to fight haji it was pretty fun, you were just hanging out with the boys the whole time.
