(he was supposed to represent the "typical redneck gun nut") and Billy is shaking his head in disgust and is offended by everything he sees there (a child testing out a rifle etc). Later on Billy ambushes the guy in a parking garage and beats the shit out of him, the guy begs him to stop, saying he told him what he wanted (Billy wanted to know something about his dead mentor) and Billy said "I know. But that doesn't change what you are" and then he started violently beating him in the face, then cut his head off, because he was promoting the 2nd amendment and anti-government and a rightwinger.

The boys is based off the original comic which the show takes zero inspiration from. The whole point of the comic was from the view of a regular guy turned superhuman to help curb superheroes due to them being literally gods.

Unless I missed something that's not what I saw. The guy's MENTOR was the pedo, not him (right?) and Billy was trying to blackmail the guy about his mentor being a pedo, but the guy swore up and down his mentor was not a pedo, which led me to believe he is not a pedo.
