Also I suggest caution regarding other denominations that call themselves Christians. What my faith led me to is non-denominational Christianity but for you God might have a different plan so go where God leads you.

nuking stuff is kinda brute way. I was of more elegant ways of doing diplomacy like the Russian Empire did back in its days: Occuping land and forcing countrises to buy it back without declaring war; Forcing allies to pay for its army and etc
It already took over by the time I was old enough to buy street food. Shashlik is also popular but it's more of a cookout thing rather than something you just grab on the street corner. McDonalds is big too. As for why shawarma is popular, it's just too widespread, you can find it everywhere. They also don't limit themselves to just shawarma usually, so you can get fries or whatever too.
