Don't worry bruz it didn't actually happen.

It's nerf or nothing.

It is a 9mm assault rifle!

Perth always seems to be the crazy side of Australia. Like how you guys couldn't find that missing plane.

I doubt you could print an entire gun. Maybe in .22 short, but I doubt it

It’s a fucking toy

gel blaster = 9mm blow your lung right out

is that a barrel im seeing on the end of the upper? is this actually a 100% full plastic gun?

yea all plastic gel-blaster

well this is interesting. i havent paid attention in a little while, but i suppose i expected progress to be made. so this thing can actually fire more than once and not break immediately?

er so apparently gel blaster ammo is only 6mm so the cops didnt even measure it right lol

You can’t 3D print any of the load-bearing components of a gun. This is a dumb argument.

Gel blasters are cheap and good fun, but illegal in most (all?) states in Australia now

>He doesn't know about ecm
Lmao.

i held off getting a 3d printer a little while ago becuase i wasnt really sold on it then. ill definitely be looking into this, as well as that giggle switch coat hanger

>not even a lightsabre.
a more civilized weapon for a more civilized time.

6 looks like 9 when you're upside down, easy mistake

>You can’t 3D print any of the load-bearing components of a gun.
Why not?

The most common material printed in 3d printers is PLA which is hard but very brittle. Make sure the 3d printer you get has a heated bed and enclosure so you can print stronger materials like ABS or carbon fiber mixes. Those materials require higher temps.

>3D printed semi automatic assault rifle
* laughs in american *

>firearm

>"in essence"

This will continue. The authorities are beyond stupid - they live in a fantasy world where words aren't connected to meaning. One day they will lose their authority because of this can't into reality. May take a while, sadly I'm suspecting a lot of the Boomer generation who are like this will escape consequences by dying.

The high end filaments make the gun pretty strong. But even a good quality pla will shoot multiple times now.

No

Poor one armed bastard sitting in an Australian reeducation camp.

No prison or penal colony in the world allows firearms

Also it practically melts at 60deg

best post in thread

Where was this kid gonna get ammo? you can't just walk into Walmart and buy 9mm ammo in Perth as a 17 year old kid lol

3d printers are a life changer, filament is cheap and you can make any small parts in your home.

i saw that too lol

It's against the law in Australia to even have something that resembles a gun. If you have a gun-shaped wood carving, you can get charged with possession of a gun. Not kidding.

Powerglove

It's a lot easier to buy ammo illegally than a firearm.

Any part of the gun is just as illegal as an actual whole gun.

Yeah, that's gay.

hows that

I work in tech and anytime a 3D printer is mentioned, some stupid fucking mouth breathing boomer says, "Ohh, you can 3D print guns! I saw on the television that people are printing guns!" as if they think that the printer itself creates all of the internal working mechanical parts needed for it to actually function like a gun.

The thing in the article is a fucking playtoy. A butter knife would be considered more dangerous.

Lol. Lmao.

I'll 3d print your mum

So you could trick a whole lot of people into having art or something that has a piece of metal in it bent to vaguely resemble a trigger spring and cause a massive shitstorm?

>You know you aren't free!
Looks like that's about to change.

>hows that
>man with a firearm license walks into gun shop
>buys a box of 9mm ammunition
What accountability is there after that? All of our laws are centred around controlling the flow of weapons, not ammunition. Does someone keep track of how many rounds he fires? Does someone come and audit how many bullets he has on a daily basis? What stops him from just selling half a box here and there?

How do these 3d printer boys keep getting caught? It's happened in Canada a few times as well.

Hmm good point - all i know is you gotta lock up ya ammo and that's about all the law says

How did they know?
Did he shoot up a 3D printed school?

they post pics on facebook
