I'll try to explain using other items as similar examples. Owning a nice firearm is like owning a nice guitar or motorcycle etc. Not only do you get the pleasure of using it, but you can also enjoy the quality and craftsmanship. You can enjoy learning about it and how to properly maintain it. How to use it well and improve your confidence and ability with it. When you get into one or two of them you can then start collecting. Now you have a hobby and it gets even better.
