She was a female wrestler but the situation and narrative basically got lobbed onto "cyberbullying" and one guy specifically so nobody would go after the large media companies that are the real reason she killed herself.
What actually happened is that the promotion she wrestled for, Stardom, was bought by Bushiroad who wanted to make the promotion mainstream and her as one of the faces of Stardom since she was young and pretty. So they got her onto Terrace House to basically advertise Stardom.
But it's reality TV so the producers decided to portray her as a giant bitch through editing and giving her lines to say, setting up situations, etc. This caused her to be seen by the Japanese normalfags as a cunt and she was widely hated by them which left her feeling miserable. This culminated in an incident where another cast member accidentally fucked her costume up in the wash and she knocked the hat off of his head so now she was an evil, violent bitch to all of Japan (even though she basically had the producers forcing her to do it).
When the show went on break because of COVID, she begged Bushiroad to let her leave the show because she hated the whole thing and they told her, more or less, to fuck off and that she wasn't leaving. Because new episodes weren't being made, the show was being rerun during the middle of all the lockdown shit which caused everything to start up all over again so lockdowns + being forced to work on a show she hated + the show being edited to make her a villain to the country at large broke her and she killed herself.
When her mother (who was a retired wrestler) tried going to Fuji TV (producers of and airing the show) they blew her off while Bushiroad told her, more or less, to not worry about it and that she could make money by holding memorial shows and selling memorial merch.

No, not really. She's definitely mixed Japanese/Indonesian (you can pretty much look at her and tell she's mixed) and she likely did face some shit from dickhead kids growing up due to being mixed and that probably did make her more sensitive to hate directed towards her. But the official narrative that she killed herself solely due to cyberbullying is basically massively distorting the reality to absolve the larger media companies of their role in it through the actions of their show's producers and their general indifference towards the fact she was miserable.
Her mother talked about how Hana would call her up crying because she couldn't deal with being on the show. Not like she minded being a heel as a wrestler (since she typically was) but because Terrace House was a reality show and typically seen as much more "real" than most of them, this gave the Japanese public the perception that the real person was a detestable bitch so they treated her as such even though the incidents that caused that perception were staged by the show's producers who goaded and badgered her until she'd eventually get fed up and half-heartedly do what they wanted.
