Ok I wont.
If your house is not within 2 hours of a major city, You bought a fake house.
If your house is within 2 hours of a major city, it will go down for a few years but then up.
Reddit tier bait
It might, who knows, the cost of a monthly payment has gone up massively along with the interst rates on mortgage so that's certainly not going to be good for housing prices. Personally I wouldnt think now would be the time to buy
It doesn't .... Have to collapse though.. maybe. History says it will collapse at some point in the not too distant future though. It ran up massively so it needs to come back to earth
I own a 3 car garage with studio apartment/mother in law suite, and a 4 bed 3 bath house with additional attached 2 car garage on 3 acres and I paid $260,000 for it last year, you got fucked bud, because I fully believe my house will end up less than what I paid for it in the near future, but I don't plan on moving.
I'd say it comes down largely on where it's located. Property values in Idaho, Nevada, & Arizona are continuing to rise as the vanishing middle class & conservatives are getting the FUCK out of Washington, Oregon, and California states. Rural counties and small city locations within the West Coast states are increasing in value as well - but what will those state economies look like within the next 5 years?
You bought in, CHILL! Look at it one of two ways:
>Do you plan to retire in this home?
Then the market doesn't matter so much. Just pay it off and be done.
>Do you plan to sell this home and buy another one?
Market effects mainly cancel out. If your home loses value, the next home you buy will also come at a discount.
why do you care if it loses value?
Are you selling it soon?
bad idea
have other assets aside from the house
Houses cannot gain or lose value, user. Prices may vary a little, but you'll get the same plot of land, with the same bricks, wood, plywood... so how could you ever lose value?
>Then the market doesn't matter so much. Just pay it off and be done.
Incorrect, he should've waited a year and bought at 200k.
>Market effects mainly cancel out. If your home loses value, the next home you buy will also come at a discount.
again incorrect. he should've just waited and picked up the better house for cheap
No but its pretty fucking demoralizing if i bought this home for 400,000 last week and i could have waited another couple weeks and got it half price i literally fucked myself
>those nails
It will crash for a few years then it will go back up
you will be underwater in 2 years, brace for it
Why did you buy a house? Can’t you just hang upside down in a tree or something when you need to sleep?
1/4 that. Hell. I got 2500 sqft on a full acre for less than 80 6 years ago. Nice house too.
WTF are those toenails I swear intelligence has NO correlation to income in Weimerica
has to make payments on it.
With those feet?
Lol you're fucked out of your down payment for sure.
Bro I pray every day that we’re about to have a housing market crash due to flag related
>please don’t tell me my home will lose half its value
Buy high, sell low. The modern American dream.
Me here
I changed my mind after seeing how much more it has continued to go up. Yes it's going to crash very soon. These prices are not sustainable with high interest rates whatsoever
It will eventually recoup any lost value. But u only actually lose if u sell it. Stop crying
>Israeli gun
>muh housing speculation
KYS with it
You won't be able to make the payments on it when mass layoffs come to town dipshit. Shoulda bought a shack that you can't get evicted from cause you have the deed
What's with those toenails??
Man i have another kid otw i had no choice but to buy a house. Im so fucked dude. I paid 400,000$ for a 3 bed 2 bathroom 2100sq ft home. I know it was high but my realtor said homes would only keep increasing.
Your home will lose 1/4 of its value.
In the ghetto
How long until the bubble bursts and idiots get liquidated?
