Brainlet...
Glacier =/ iceberg..

i think they're more concerned about the ice that isn't in the sea, you dumb euroboer

Did I point this out enough times in youtube comment sections and in threads here for people to realize this? Literally made my mission to expose this and even asked "experts" about it and never got answers.
Plus that does not even factore in the watercycle which all water on earth is a part of, including underground water in aquafers.
The amount of Water on earth is finite and does not change. It is tectonic paltes which alter the coast lines, ocean levels etc, ice caps melting does not add more water, or volume.

This is actually how it works no really

yeah but the ice in greenland and antarctica is not floating

Did you account for meteorological events such as heavy rains, thunderstorms and hurricanes?

The ice which is expanded in its frozen state, subject to the water cycle, freezes and unfreezes yearly, and is 99% below the surface?

The right has become so delusional that I seriously have a hard time telling the difference between a right-wing “redpill” image and a leftist meme which mocks right wing views

Pic is wrong, technically the level went a bit lower which correlates to current findings.

It is still displacing the water around it with equal mass and a larger volume than in it's water state.

tell us how it works

I remember when 22 years ago they said by 2020 most coastal cities around the world would be bellow sea level and would be flooded by the ocean because muh polar ice sheets. Not only did the polar ice sheets stop to melt and expand but the sea leves remain exactly the same but hey, maybe we should trust (((science))) this time because..

You cannot be this dumb. What do you think is under the land retard?

no, that ice is on land, frien. and therefore NOT displacing water

> Antarctica
Yes, we will finally be able to free the ancient ones from their prison chambers.

No it isn't. It's resting on land.

no. the ice which sits on land at high altitudes or latitudes and doesn't unfreeze every year.

>ice(((berg)))

Oh wow its this thread again
This is the most retarded post I have ever seen on Any Forums and I can't believe its being posted again

They literally can not, I have won debates on this topic with college professors, All they do is appeal to authority or incompletely address the topic.

more land, and then molten lava

It's obvious what effects the ice age had on sea levels.
The greater point is when things like law and science have become politicized we're all fucked

Attached: pepetired.jpg (904x864, 83.77K)

you can tell this is a 2016 era gpt bot because nobody cares about icebergs in 2022.

Dumb ass nigger...

Glaciers are on land, not in water.

Sorry, but while this is true for the Arctic Antarctica and Greenland exist

Where do you think the water for that comes from you retard?
It's not being shipped here from some other dimension

we were threatened back then with worries like "omg, florida and new york are gonna be submerged". and now im like, neat

That amount of water is neglible, the water cycle redistributes it globally or it becomes a lake.

Yes. We are moving into a mini-ice age. It is not getting hotter and hotter forever. Everything in the universe moves in cycles.

Irrelevant. The natural gas law states that an increase in temperature creates an increase in volume if all forces remain the same. What is the change in the volume per degree of atmospheric warming? Why isn't it in any climate models? What force increases to keep the volume unchanged? As no force has been identified, what will be the increase of the ir radiation out to space given the increased surface area? Why are none of these questions ever included or addressed in any climate model ever produced, given the natural gas LAW is known, quantified, and a dependency for their arguments to begin with? This line of argument destroys every climate change claim to date. QED

god creates it on the spot

Stopping carbon omissions would kill 6 billion people. There were 1 billion before the industrial revolution for almost a thousand years. Now there are 7 billion

kek what about when ice thats on land melts and enters a body of water? the absolute fucking state of schizos, christ

now this is a different idea. if everyone in the country starts diggin holes in their backyard, and assuming the collected water doesnt just hit the aquifer, wouldnt that help?

Why didn't you say that in the first place then? Oh right it's because you're making it up as you go along you fucking retard

Most of the world's ice is on land.

>durr global warming is just ice cubes melting
You retards realise that ecosystems relying on temperatures remaining within a certain band will die out and that loss of biodiversity will lead to food shortages, right?

land that is sitting on water

continental ice isn't in the ocean dumbass, try the same experiment with the ice being in a completely different beaker and all the melted ice collects in the first beaker

All the icecaps melting would only sink Florida so thats actually a good thing.

90% of us are only here because of fissile fuels. Before the industrial revolution there were around 1 billion people. Your doomsday with climate change is nothing compared to the doomsday with out oil

Could just build levees and adapt the infrastructure accordingly. You cannot stop the climate change and these idiots who think we can are just looking to get a cut of the pie from the associated legislation. Only a blithering idiot would think otherwise. Scientifically it would be impossible to reverse any of it.
>THE ONLY SOUND MEASURE IS TO SECURE GENETIC MATERIAL OF ALL BIOLOGICAL LIFE, CONTINUE WITH INDUSTIALIZATION, PROGRESS TO TERRAFORMING ONCE IT IMPROVES, REINTRODUCE LIFE AS APPLICABLE OR WITHIN BIOSPHERES.

The northern polar ice sheet has been melting, more melts every year. Its floating, so when it melts it won't raise sea level. When it fully melts, the northern sun won't be reflected off the pole, and will heat up the ocean a lot causing an unprecendented in human civilization shift in the weather. Hotter ocean means higher global temperature, so Antarctica continues melting at an accelerated rate. When Antarctica melts, its a lot of ice on land, so it will raise the sea level.

I think user devised a way to have redditors expose themselves.

>that does not even factore in the watercycle which all water on earth is a part of, including underground water in aquafers.
The amount of Water on earth is finite and does not change. It is tectonic paltes which alter the coast lines, ocean levels etc

Although you just brought up this different topic, i already addressed it there.

glaciers extend far above the water retard, when they melt that is water added to the volume of the ocean

No it's not user. The amount of ice contained within the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets is quite significant. Enough to flood the land near the coast. Remember that this already happened historically, when the ice sheets in Canada and Europe melted, they raised sea levels a lot

Attached: Canada glacier.jpg (700x658, 309.27K)

Op is massively retarded

the fresh water mixed with the sea salt will cause huge damage to the eco system, currents, and weather patterns
