I just found a new job, no way I was getting a 50k raise from my old employer.
No, in this day and age hard work is rewarded with more work, not better pay. Why that isn't obvious is startling.
This guy is your usual entitled boomer.
>Makes millions in his 20s off of his mommy and daddy being bankers and getting him loans he wouldn't normally be eligible for at his age
>Says workers shouldn't complain and work somewhere else if they don't agree with him, gets triggered when remote workers walk out rather than return to office
>Fires workers for sex out of wedlock unless they're making him millions of dollars selling books, then he lets god's law slide
>Minimum wage has like 1/4 the spending power when he was young, inflation, rent and housing prices soar, says poor people are poor because they dine out too much
I actually back stabbed my boomer employer, started my own small business and stole all of his best clients because I need to make about $100k a year to even buy a house.
I've also stopped volunteering, donating to charities and dating and buying women stuff.
Economic and societal conditions have made it so that you need to be a cut-throat capitalist to ever live the "American Dream". There's no room to give to others, when nothing is given back.
Didn’t he fall on his ass through real estate deals and go bankrupt?
Said but true. I hope that when shit gets stable for you that you can be a change in that trend and help others.
Were I live there are more jobs than workers so all the power is in the employees hands. Oh you won't give a raise? I'll just find a job that pays me more. And find it easily.
That's why they want to import millions of shotskins and slavs so the power is back with the employers.
This. Scam or be scammed. Survival of the most sociopathic.
He was actually making a lot of money until the bank his parents worked at got bought out and then after they investigated him they told him to give the money back so he got butthurt and made a business of telling rednecks in credit card debt to pay their bills and lived happily ever after
keking lel jej kek lel kek
his advice is generally sound but he has a weird hatred of debt in all forms
fair enough (((consumer credit))) is evil but there's nothing wrong with getting a mortgage and there's no real advantage to paying it off early if you took it out when interest rates were advantageous
you don't ask for a raise, you take a raise, then send your employer a bill for the difference and sheriff them when they don't pay
I’ll find another job. Fuck him for thinking that I should get paid less than I did last year. It’s a cost of living adjustment.
youtu.be
>Just work 2 or 3 jobs.
>Just work 80 hours a week.
>Just find a $50/hr job.
Holy shit why does anyone take this guy seriously?
He is wrong about most things outside of the need to stop buying dumb shit and saving instead.
It's amazing how big the market for taking something obvious and wording it in a way that sounds more profound is.
Haha that’s the type of riches to riches story you rarely hear about in the median
Media*
It is obvious. He doesn't care.
Do it in a folksy or foreign sounding accent and you’re usually set.
I discourage any philosophy that places the average swinging dick in a kingly position. You can't be a tough boss without being a good boss, so if you're fucking incompetent and are the direct cause of most of the problems your business faces, you are in no position to adopt an assumed perspective of superiority and maintain high standards.
It's so easy to sit back and play the part of judge and jury that even a retard can do it. "You think you deserve more? Well, how does that benefit me?" Nigger, your business would collapse without the employees you habitually disrespect because you suck at what you're doing, but there's nobody around to tell you that because you're the boss.
If you want to wage war on your own feet, be your own guest.
