Yes it did. in 2014 US staged a violent illegal coup in Ukraine, bringing the unironic Nazis to power and then rulling Ukraine like a puppet to create an anti-Russian state out of it with aim of the creating conflict tying Russia western borders - that it achieved.

And it did not start in 2014, America aided and guided Ukrainian and not just their politics to enflame national conflicts, create 'color revolutions', instabiliy all over ex USSR. Including attacks on Russia itself and support of all its enemies, terrorism, radical ideologies.

Euromaidan protestes were trained abroad, leaders instructed by US, goons rained in camps in poland, financed by US and EU.

The actual legally elected president of Ukraine at tiem, was the one who pushed for Association in first place (the last pro US puppet was ousted because his goverment turned to be msot corrupt in Ukraine history). He freezed it when realized the demands in it would fuck up Ukraine economy, and wanted renegotiate, protecting its agriculture and stuff.

In responce, west activated a coup. Ukr goverment negotiated with protesters and reached agreement, of which EU countries were guarantors - but litterally day after, EU abandoned it and instead supported the violent coup and power take over.

The only PROXY leaders in Ukraine are US ones. Ukraine since 2014 is ruled directly from Washington. Yanukovich wasnt pro Russian, he was the one who moved the EU associaion agreement in first place and just tried to milk both sides for best benefits - which lead to his violent ousting and regime change in Ukraine, with mass murder of politicians, journalists, actiists, forbiddin most popular parties and media and start of civil war.

Allowing Ukraine to be turned into full on anti-Russian crypto colony was a huge mistake, that could've been prevented by full military intervention in 2014. He should've invaded then with a reason being suppression of illegitimate coup, found all american brought proxies and executed them without trial.
