If you think this, you're an idiot. First, social constructionism was started and is perpetuated by atheists. No religious person will tell you the family unit is a social construction. Second, it's not about what the masses believe but what people in power believe. If you actually think the majority of Western leaders are sincerely religious you're being foolish.
