Americans have no idea what guerilla warfare would be like. They understand why the 2nd amendment exists, but they haven't studied at all how it would actually be used. They seem to have this bizarre notion that they will go about their lives as normal, and then on sunday afternoon they'll pack their ar-15 as if they were going to the range to shoot.. then conduct some operation.. then be home by dinner and continue to live their peaceful easy life.

I know, because they seem to like posting their fucking gun collections on social media all the time, but have never actually trained in a military environment, studied small unit tactics, or even have any idea on how to conduct a prolonged campaign against an overwhelming enemy using asymmetric warfare. They likely only have a few thousand rounds, and have no notion of the logistics required to support and maintain their supplies or position.

The Green Army during the russian revolution did the same thing these retards are likely planning on doing and we all know how that turned out, but they never go read about military history because it's easier to just larp on /k/ or Any Forums.

The expected desertion rate if the military is turned on it's own citizens is over 50%. The expected sabotage rate for those who don't go AWOL is also around 50%. There won't be a guerilla style war.

But that's exactly how an insurgency in a country of this scale in an insurgency would operate. You can't make a "front" on this war, it will be all guerilla war. The most important reason for why this is, is that there is no way to tell whom an enemy is if you're an occupying force whose ethnicity matches the country you're occupying. The rebels will also not line up to be shot.

The right's goal is balkanization, followed by reunification. You basically want the citizens and army to think "it isn't worth it", by making them as miserable as possible. How long will loyalists suppport the war when they have no water, food, electricity, or internet? To get people they hate back into the union?

The thing about guerrila warfare is that the "warfare" part is limited in scope and use. It's not about conducting specops raids every day, but choosing easy and vulnerable targets for maximum political impact, constantly harassing the enemy, etc

Only a minority would actually be out conducting operations directly attacking the enemy. In a guerilla warfare situation even old boomers, wannabe larpers, and women could be helpful by stockpiling equipment or otherwise supporting the guys out in the field by being spies and sabotaging the occupying force in what might seem like minor ways
