I had it hit me on Wednesday, thought I was just hungover until the feeling didn't go away and my temperature spiked. That night I hit 102*f and had aches and shivers with a massive migraine. Got tested positive on Thursday and now on Saturday my only lingering symptom is an occasional sharp stabbing pain behind my ears. Apart from that, I've had worse colds. Hopefully the random shooting pain spikes die off and I'll be fine again.
Never took a shot, only got a test because I went to the walkin clinic thinking I'd gotten Lyme from a tick bite.

Peter Daszak of the EcoHealth Alliance submitted a funding request to DARPA in 2018 for "Project DEFUSE" seeking to add ACE-2 binding sites to wild bat coronaviruses and spray them in caves in China, then take the samples back to the BSL-4 lab in Wuhan to study how they mutated with the aid of Shi Zhengli and other chink colleagues.
DARPA rejected it on ethics and safety grounds, saying they didn't take into consideration that the virus could escape or mutate.
It's extremely common to shop your grant proposals around to multiple agencies, and the EcoHealth Alliance and those researchers already had dozens of bat coronavirus research papers already.
