They are also foreign invaders in a country that increasingly hates them.

Russia is slowly winning even though outmanned in Ukraine, and would have no reason to ever use chemical weapons. The fact that you’d suggest it means you’re knee deep in our false flag propaganda.
Russia will slowly take the territory they want and it’ll be over in a year or so, with up to a million Ukrainian military casualties. If Ukraine actually started doing well Russia would just use more than a small part of this military there. There’s more in the line for Russia in this conflict than there is for Ukraine.
