It is literally impossible to weigh the value of 150 years of vastly elevated living conditions, longer lifespans, and the aggregate of all human innovation and exploration against whatever suffering the population will experience if/when it eventually collapses.
Billions of people lived their entire lifespans within this period and enjoyed experiences that would have previously been beyond the scope of human comprehension or imagination.
Neither you, nor anyone else on this planet is in a position to say "none of that was worth it in the end", not anymore than I would be to tell you it was.
