I used to have a live and let live attitude (It's not our business what adults do in the bedroom), but I can admit I was wrong. All the claims of grooming weren't just rhetoric or hyperbole.
I'm 12 years older than my brother. He's going to graduate high school in a couple years. I work remotely and our parents are retired and live in Mexico. Our parents visit a few times a year and send extra money for his expenses, but are otherwise very hands-off.
My brother "came out" as a troon 6 months ago. I obviously was confused. He never exhibited any tendencies before. So I said fuck it and did some digging. I remember you guys mentioning all the groomers on discord and reddit, so I checked our network traffic. Yup, lots of access to discord and reddit, especially /r/egg_irl.
I used a key-logger, got access to all his accounts, and started posing as him while simultaneously taking away his phone (swapping it with an old flip phone) and only allowing him to use the internet with my supervision. Holy shit, Any Forums. Everywhere he went, there were creepy troons trying to convince him and other kids they're also mentally deranged. He had at least 3 people actively grooming him on discord, and another 1 on reddit.
Fortunately I think keeping him off the internet the past 6 months has done him a lot of good. He finally admitted he was wrong and is no longer trans last week. I made him sign up for a youth group at our local Catholic church and he now has a lot more local friends he spends time with instead of faceless weirdos and pedos he meets online.

I didn't save any screencaps. I checked if he sent or received any inappropriate images, which he hadn't, though not for the lack of groomers trying.
Once I verified nothing like that was sent (I was hell bent on having charges pressed) I deleted all his accounts. Discord, Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, FFXIV, Microsoft (Minecraft), Steam, etc...
I told him he had lost his privileges to all that and he might be able to earn some of the games back some day.
