coal smoke comes down with the rain, the slag has to be disposed of, scrubbers do ok but there are huge problems with coal unless you have a nice safe place to dump everything and also store the coal before you burn it

power generation of the grid comes from many different sources not a singular mono source.
nuclear plants run essentially for free with fuel so abundant it hardly has to be mined. and their cost per dollar in actuality to run much cheaper than their projections since plants run decades past their lifetime.
regardless of these facts power generation isn't a monalyth. and they all have their advantages/disadvantages.
energy can be incredibly cheap but it is not; because the forces of finance sees to it that it will not.
Energy like other sectors isn't seen as a service of altruism to provide to people; an area like all others that is in the grasp of the finance jew. this jew overthrows any place that provides energy and power altruistically without their finance jewry. they destroys them completely, such example being Libya and Gadaffi.
This is the problem with energy, our technologies are incredibly advanced in both of these sectors but even with how incredible they are they are still at the whym of the finance jew.
