What are the political implications of male zoomers not having hobbies or interests?
Fifteen years ago when I was a wee lad, every male I knew had some kind of hobby that they practically engaged in. The car guys worked on cars, computer guys built computers, sports guys played sports. The hobby helped form the foundation of their personality and allowed them to make like-minded friends. Many of them went on to eventually get a job related to their hobby.
Now I notice that many young men don't seem to be interested in much at all. Out of all the zoomers I know, I can't really think of any hobbies they have. One guy has an inquisitive mind, but this seems to just translate into watching the occasional Youtube video on a topic before moving on. There's a sperg who is vaguely interested in aircraft and collects models from the airport, but has no idea of how planes actually work or their history.
How will this impact society in the coming decades? When males aren't feeding their curiosity and developing their technical skills at an early age, how will society find its next generation of engineers, technicians, tradespeople, etc.?
Obviously women are not included in this because they don't have hobbies.
you tell me comrade if you don't own it, you don't care

(((They))) think we have produced blanks, ready to shaped into whatever (((they))) want. The zommies are at a minimum subconsciously aware, waiting for the signal.

I'm an older zoomer '98fag and I like tinkering with house appliances. I've taken apart and put back together things more times than I care to admit - but I don't know what to do if I want a career or just real skill out of this.

They become trannies. Men in countries where they constantly do things do not transition

Most people dont get jpbs related to their hobby though

every time I took any interest in any hobbies or crafts my boomer parents either mercilessly mocked it and called it useless, or just flat out told me to waste my time doing something almost unrelated, god forbid wanting to make money out of it >oh you enjoy the gardening? go to your uncle and dig through his entire garden >no you cannot ask him for compensation, you like gardening so do it for free I blame boomers. Their entire generation still has head so far up its own ass it cannot see anything but their own bowels covered in old shit literally yesterday, my dad YELLED that I have to come and help him install radiatior, then, instead of asking me to do ANYTHING just expected me to stare and look as he twists the nuts and bolts why the FUCK should I watch old boomer do shit that I know exactly how to do TLDR boomers are at fault for everything that is wrong with the world because they believed jewish memes
Hunter Miller
Just do what you like and you'll be pretty happy. Only boomers are obsessed with muh 6 figures. I make a comfy 70k a year fixing bulldozers n shit

Is there some way I can do more of repairing and maintaining things? This is truly stroking my Autism goodfeels

Do you have add/adhd? Are you mechanically inclined? You can take this many ways. Repairing things are one thing. Designing is the next.
However, if you look at social interactions as a mechanical like system, like I do, you could consider careers in many high level fields, just may not come as naturally. By being almost inhuman, we can master others.

Hobbies are expensive. Ths is the last time I'm getting a 90s PC up and running.

I'm legitimately Schizophrenic but I have a good head for solving problems for now.

It's pretty easy actually. I'm a 98 zoomers too. I was going through engineering because my parents wanted me to make crazy money and buy a mansion n shit. I couldn't cut it, I took the units I had a d applied them to some auto and diesel classes at my college. I graduated in 2 semesters with an AS in auto repair, all my student ASEs I also got some heavy equipment certs and I started applying for jobs. Apparently I'm a breath of fresh air to these guys because I'm not a braindead grease monkey. Holding out for a government job though, they pay more and have benefits

>be boomer >fuck around with car >accidentally invent electronic fuel injection >accidentally invent forced induction turbocharging >accidentally invent variable valve timing >literally just trying to make car go faster >keep getting all these checks in the mail >just want to drive car >all manufacturers using my technology jump to 2022 >everything has already been invented >"work" on your car end up breaking it >go outside get assaulted by niggers >live in city get assaulted by niggers >turn on news niggers talking about why white people are always keeping the nigger down >gets interrupted by nigger commercial selling BET koolaid flavored weaves >spics and niggers violently lash out at society because they are incapable of expressing their anger through words

>Everything has been invented Kinda sad but it's true. At this point it's computer simulators and AI making what we already have .00004% more efficient

1998 zoomer here. I like to resell electronics on ebay and fiddle around with electronics and my car sometimes. I don't know much about electronics without tutorials and my car knowledge is from ChrisFix, but I do enjoy the satisfaction of doing a good job on my car.
>Most people dont get jpbs related to their hobby though True. I can do any repair necessary on my vehicles, even technical things that require advanced diagnostic tools and abilities. I own a mill and lathe for hobby machine work. I build and service PCs for myself/friends/family. I do hobby electronics, mainly audio related. Can design and etch my own PCBs and solder the most complex surface mount parts. What do I do for a living? Janitorial.

Sold out almost 2 centuries ago, sorry fren

Their hobbies are collecting funko pops

The problem with doing the same hobby as your job is your job will wear you out.
>be me >be le hackerman throughout college >do ctfs nearly every week >even start a yearly CTF for my university >graduate, get a job >years later >doing hackerman things outside of work just feels tiring now unless it is something really special >havent participated in a CTF in over a year And that is why my main hobbies now are cars and motorcycles.
Jack Russell
Yeah I expect that there a definitely guys like you out there, but I feel that you're a dwindling minority. As I said, virtually every male I can think of from 2005 or so had something. Now maybe it's half of that amount doing something with the remainders spending most of their time on social media.
Adrian Russell
That's understandable. I know mechanics that aren't car guys because the last thing they want to do on their own time is work on a car.
Parker Brooks
"Hobby" is just a fancy way to say work, and these generations don't dream of hobbies because working has become retarded. We've the means to largely remove all jobs and we just don't.
Ryan Clark
tfw 28 and my only hobby is posting on Any Forums
Xavier Barnes
Dwindling minority for sure. Most of my friends went to college and university. I have to say that I wouldn't have been into cars if it weren't for other generations getting me into it. I try to do the same for gen alpha and so on.
Camden Turner
I used to do that.
I took everything to pieces in my house, I studied Mech engineering.
I’m an engineer now, but not much work is hands on. There are jobs where you can do physical stuff but they pay less.

I LOVE building computers, I spent countless days in the computer lab at my old high school fucking with old 512mb sticks of ram, Athlon II's and just building old computers because we had buckets of old parts like that lying around. It was comfy but now since computers are so expensive and I am working two jobs just to stay afloat, I don't have the time, money, or energy to even think about computers. I want to build some sort of water cooled ITX AMD system in the future but due to my working life as it is, I just can't. Other than that, whenev I get a chance I hop onto a language learning site called Uusi Kielemme and learn a bit of Finnish whenever I get the chance. I like learning languages but the ironic thing is that I hate talking to like 95% of people. Maybe that's why I like Finnish? But yeah, my brother, who was born 2005, doesn't have a single hobby other than maybe going to the gym, all he does is lift and watch anime as far as I know.
That’s not true, patents getting applied for are through the roof.
Optimising isn’t inventing.
CAD makes inventing and designing things so much easier, when 3D printing gets really going you won’t even need to find a manufacturer for your prototypes.
Carter Powell
this is the actual true answer, we're looking at a future where mumbai is gonna flood our job market with specialists while we waste away in our happy cubicles

Hard to say really must gen z like video games and spend most of there time in the virtual world than do anything irl. For me it has always been firearms ever since i was young. All my friends own guns so I guess for us gen z its not all bad. Perhaps its time to continue learning the guitar or piano.
