This is actually kind of true. And even though I know it's true, it doesn't help me in day to day social situations. So much knowledge and "common sense" that I take for granted needs to be spoon fed to others, slowly, one word at a time, like I'm explaining something to a toddler sans the baby talk. When I interact with people less intelligent than myself is that I don't try to belittle them. Also, I try to explain things in ways they can understand. Also, they will praise you for your intelligence.
Super autists that have no capability or haven't adapted and learned how to communicate with those with less intelligence are ultimately useless when it comes to enacting anything outside of their own little piece of the world that they can control.
It is also good to sometimes listen to the less intelligent. While they might not know it, they might make you privy to a certain piece of information or say something in a way that might spark your good pattern recognition skills and ultimately help you complete a puzzle or come up with an idea that wasn't too clear before.
It is usually the overly inflated egos of midwits that I hate.
