19-year-old ASU sorority girl found dead with 8 different drugs in her system.
> Keira Dillon, 19, was a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority at Arizona State University. She was found dead in a bedroom under unexplained circumstances. > Maricopa County coroner now rules her death "suicide by acute polydrug toxicity" with 8 different drugs (hydroxyzine, acetaminophen, alprazolam, fluoxetine, amphetamine, MDMA, citalopram, buspirone).
> Keira was born June 19, 2002 in Aurora, Colorado. She died unexpectedly in Tempe, Arizona at age 19. > Currently in the Sigma Kappa Sorority at Arizona State University, Keira loved to travel. One of her favorite places was vacationing in Lahaina, Maui. > She loved going to the Maui beaches, dressing up, shopping, cheer and little children. Her goal was to become a pediatric surgeon.
None of those drugs in a toxicology report are "bad drugs" or have any drug interactions. Without knowing the levels, this was just a unfortunate death. At best she got serotonin syndrome and panicked to death.

>acetaminophen
That shit alone will kill you, if taken in large quantities.

>alprazolam, fluoxetine, citalopram We need to get rid of psych meds. This is getting out of control

Oh no. Anyway.

Sounds like she gubbed 8 different drugs at once like a retard and died.
Smoothbrain here, Excluding the obvious drugs (meth and mdma), aren't a good portion of those prescription drugs related to depression/anxiety?
Jaxson Russell
Amphetamine... Mdma.. ? Are those "good" drugs? What makes drugs good or bad? If you mix all of those SSRI inhibitors thats definitely bad, not necessarily to cause a toxic chemical reaction but the cumulative effect could cause depression of the respiratory system
Sounds like she partied and took mdma, went to crash and took too many downers. The amphetamine in the blood is a byproduct of your body breaking down other amphetamine compounds. Some of the others are anti anxiety meds and ssri.
It doesnt say if she was prescribed any medications.
