there's a lot to unpack here

I doubt Google employees type in such retarded way. Sorry bro you have to try harder.

I guarantee you this is a google recruiter with a google.com email.

If anything, the retarded email is a testament to how shitty google has become.

Whiteboard coding interviews are incredibly stupid and Google is incredibly gay for implementing them. The whole point of an interview is to get to know the candidate and see if they're a good fit for the company. Whiteboard coding interviews do nothing but test a person's ability to code on a whiteboard. It's a completely useless metric that has nothing to do with whether or not the person is a good fit for the company.

Google is particularly bad because they're one of the biggest companies in the world and they have the resources to come up with a better way to interview candidates. But instead, they choose to use this stupid whiteboard coding interview that does nothing but weed out people who don't have the ability to code on a whiteboard. It's an incredibly dumb way to interview candidates and it's something that Google needs to change.

In summary, Google should take its massive pool of resources and politely tongue my anus.

I once interviewed at Google, as an expert in Quantum Computing. One of my interviewers was a dumb bitch that asked me some CS 101 coding problems, I told her in the interview to stop wasting my time and that she's bad at her job.

I've gone through their whiteboarding challenge before. I'm not a huge fan. I used to really want to work for Google and was willing to look past the dumb whiteboarding process, but now I think they are just a bunch of evil globalists who want to literally implement thought control. The only big tech I could see myself working for these days is Apple, since they actually make hardware which grounds them to reality more than the others.

You are an expert in quantum computing?

>they're one of the biggest companies in the world and they have the resources to come up with a better way to interview candidates
It has nothing to do with resources, it's a work-around to the rule that you can't give prospective employees an IQ test since that's racist (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Griggs_v._Duke_Power_Co.)

yea, but your word is worthless, nigger.

Its not really an IQ test though. A 120IQ pajeet who grinds leetcode for 2 years straight will do much better than a 140IQ physicist.

This is bullshit but I believe it

I'll grant you that. On an anonymous site, a person's word is mostly worthless.

a 50 IQ pajeet who grinds leetcode for 6 months can do it too. that's the whole problem... it exchanges critical thinking for following the norms. Ergo, its a purity test not a test of merit, skill, programming or problem solving ability.

Bot thread. Ignore and move on

Literally not a bot, just bored doing the whole remote work life and decided I want some autist social interaction.

Google motherfucking fired a guy who said men and women tend to make different career choices and told all tech corps to not hire him if they wanted to do business with them.

It happens for sure. I once solved an interviewer's problem using a lesser-known feature in Python's standard library. I even played along with the whole charade of asking probing questions: 'are you sure you want me to continue with this standard lib solution, I can do the algorithmic approach that people asking these types of questions`. The dude just wanted to see the easy solution and probably ran to the PR he was working on and implemented what I solved for him...

I was going for a director role and had another retard ask me to write an 'idempotent shuffle' in Python. I asked probing questions and got a wishy-washy answer. Dude was so preoccupied with his mental masturbation about how distributed systems are supposed to theoretically work and his research that it appeared he totally neglected the product and business side of his whole company...

I have a resume that's nothing but accomplishments and still get asked shit like write a bash script that loops through a file and prints shit. At the architect and director level...

It's sort of insulting to have over a decade of professional experience in a field and see so many people who clearly don't have a fucking clue be the gatekeepers.

wtf are democratic socialists based now whats with the flowers

Ya. James is another reason I don't want to work there. I wouldn't expect the recruiter to understand that argument though.

>It's sort of insulting to have over a decade of professional experience in a field and see so many people who clearly don't have a fucking clue be the gatekeepers.
If they had a clue they'd actually be building something instead of working the fucking gate

Face it. You are afraid of POC because of your inadequacy, and you constantly deflect as a defense, frankly it's embarrassing for both of us. Do better.

not a bot, am pro

>and told all tech corps to not hire him if they wanted to do business with them.
It's a little frightening how tech companies are able to so boldly break the law out in the open and not even have anyone publicly reproach them (even the "conservative media). Like how Uber just blatantly violated taxi registration laws in pretty much every major city in the country for like a decade until they finally got around to bribing the last local officials to change their laws and nothing ever happened to them. If you were to count up the number of felonies they committed it would probably be in the millions

No one who uses Gentoo has a job

Why use st and not dwm?

People who have been using linux for a decade do

friend was using awesome and wanted to try it

The Supreme Court had to step in. Googke was all on board but wanted to blame OHSA. HR departments all across the country were gearing up for it and NOW they want to play dumb. 2ns weekend of January, I had no idea if I would still have a job the following week.
FUCK JOE BIDEN

which hotel? jk jk, stop posting pictures of yourself on the internet user

it's a bimodal distribution, either you don't have a job or you have a really good job with very little in-between

They do.. This is actually better than what I've seen, mine are always riddled with spelling and grammatical errors

Good bot

>good fit for the company
Do you believe in our horseshit politics. Nah coding skills matter.

The ones with jobs don't use Gentoo, they just fuck around with it

In today's society, it seems that people who disagree with others are demonized. They are seen as unreasonable, close-minded, and just generally fucking retarded. This could not be further from the truth. In fact, people who disagree with others are often some of the most intelligent, well-informed people around.

The reason that people who disagree with others are demonized is because they challenge the status quo. They are not afraid to speak their mind, even if it goes against what everyone else thinks. This takes a lot of courage, and it is something that should be respected.

People who disagree with others are also often very passionate about their beliefs. They have thought long and hard about why they believe what they do, and they are not going to change their mind just because someone else disagrees with them. This is a strength, not a weakness.

The bottom line is that people who disagree with others are not fucking retarded. They are often the smartest, most well-informed people around. So the next time you find yourself in a disagreement with someone, try to see it as an opportunity to learn, not an argument to be won.

SOMEBODY.
POST.
DYATLOV.

never help a woman, retard

My whiteboard was implement auto-spell given a dictionary.. I tried using Hashmap.. I failed..

just pirate that ex-Google sloot's cracking the coding interview book and spend the next 18 months of your life practicing 1,500 pages of whiteboard questions bro. it's fun and easy c:

You seem very knowledgeable about coding. My certified 130 IQ friend codes too. I tried to learn by myself a little bit but I'm a simple ~90-110 IQ retard (going by the internet tests) and my brain started to melt when I began learning, I had z e r o fucking interest in typing shit that made shit happen on a computer, I wish I had the interest because my friend is making bank but I just don't care about it even though it's regarded as a big thing nowadays, like we use phones and computers all day everyday and I appreciate coding and the coders but fuck it's so boring man.
