It doesn't "render" anything. That's not how AI works. It isn't creating a face. It doesn't know what faces are. It is just creating images it thinks most relate to the word query, based on millions upon millions of examples it was trained on. So you see these kind of patterns that kinda look like what they are supposed to be, but aren't clearly defined structures like somebody drawing them
