And if illegal weapons were handeled and removed en mass... it would make sense to absolutely restrict type of weapons a person can own, at what age especially, and psychological checkups before certain responsibility was granted for certain types of arms.

Age of drinking is 21 "in most states" same with age of smoking and now age when you can buy a gun is now 21. This means that the new considered age for being an adult is 21.
