You could lose 5 lbs in a couple days easy when fasting or just eating a large meal once a day.

It's super easy, frankly. Cut out booze. Just stop drinking. High fiber. Low carbs. High protein, medium or high fat.
You don't need to do keto or paleo or anything but just eat less carbs, shit more out, and eat more protein for muscles.
should be doing low weight, high rep workouts when possible. I did all mine with a 20 pound kettlebell.

I just dont eat that much, I dont drink soda except a few times a week, and drink 0 calorie beer even though I dont only drink like once a month now

I like to have dates, nuts and raisins to snack on between meals.

I run a small amount daily but not to burn calories. Weight is managed by controlling consumption. Exercise is for tone.

don't buy ready to eat food, like bags of snack food, nuts, ice cream, fast food, etc.
brush and floss teeth after eating.
make your own food.
don't snack.
don't eat cheese, cookies, cakes, ice cream, cured meat, any fried food, chocolate candy, candy, full fat dairy, fatty meats. avoid nuts.
IF and low carb and lift. its simple.
now, try to work out where your thoughts come from, that's much more difficult.

I'm an ectomorph. I can subsist on junk food and beer seemingly indefinitely without significant weight gain (although I'll still feel like shit if i'm not eating well). I still eat moderately-strict keto most of the time, and oddly enough that diet keeps me the largest, which for a skinnyfag like me is the goal.
My wife lost 60 some kgs when she stopped eating like a normalfag amerifat going keto and she stays pretty thin despite having shitty metabolic genetics. You might want to start there.
Alcohol ages people quicker than almost anything and creates fat. Cut drinking down to once or twice a month, get a little exercise and eat well

I have a perfectly normal BMI. That's why I lost 45 pounds. I didn't have one prior.
Actually I have the opposite problem can't gain weight no matter what I do. I can drink sugary sodas, energy drinks eat wafers and chocolate and still not gain a pound. Last year after covid I even lost another five pounds.
I tried changing eating habits, and it didn't do too much. I quit soda about 5 years ago. I just quit 'sugar free' (still awful for health) monsters and only take 100 jet alert mg caffeine pills if I need a pick me up.
I would try and do 20 mins of exorcise a day or every other day. Start slow, and find something you enjoy. Biking, swimming, inside. I read somewhere you lose most of your weight breathing.

So you want to do something that isn't bulk building but requires some form of stamina. It doesn't have to be a marathon either.
One of the best things I did for myself is bought a kettle ball. I do all of my exorcises with this. It's a bowflex with flexible weight. I leave it outside, and make myself do 5 mins of it every time I take a piss outside. It makes me feel great afterward too and helps keep me awake.
As some above have said, fructose (sugar) and alcohol has a high percent of that calorie that your body will turn into fat. Your body won't know what to do with it. There was a youtube documentary 10 years ago that detailed on this called .

Fasting. Long periods of fasting. It eats the filth in your body and heals your GI. I eat once a day after 5 pm for months and months. Then I eat what the duck I want for a few months and go back to fasting.
Walk 5 miles a day.
