Why are there no 1oz silver or gold bullion sovereign coins from Arab nations?
Every other region of the world seems to have them except for the Middle East.

Do Arab countries have a lot of precious metal deposits that would lead to a long standing minting industry or culture? I mean they historically have done a lot of commerce, so they probably would just use bullion coins from other nations that they traded with.
