They live a harsh reality... but reality it is...

Desert people tend to be pretty wise in a schizo way

Cool idea for an art installation. Painting over old TVs.

There's no free sandwiches in the middle of the desert. You have to work hard to survive and everyone needs to put in their fair share of work. They don't support laziness or handouts. Plus it's only white people out there, the shitskin hobos stay in the city where the free shelter sandwiches and endless social services are.

Where do they get food by working hard?

The desert is Any Forums's natural habitat. All the artificial faggotry of the concrete world is removed, and you can breathe and see the dimension we live in for what it really is. And contrary to popular belief, the desert is absolutely filled with life. A different, more based kind of life. Are you really going to try to tell me cacti aren't based? Not even you would believe that argument if you tried to make it.

I've thought about going there. People say you don't want to though. It's a community of schizos and some of them belong in mental institutions. People go there and are never seen again man. I still want to though.

Stay in town be a fag.

Animals in the desert are among the most well adapted I have ever seen. Take condors for instance, they basically let the free energy around them do all the work of flying for them. Road runners too, they sprint from cover to cover then take out their prey in one burst of movement. Everything about desert life signifies the raw beauty of adaptation, that is aesthetics pressed into service as utility.

>It's a community of schizos and some of them belong in mental institutions.
you could say that about any desert city

OC indeed

They were never meant to live in the modern world. As with Africans, most of our issues with them come from trying to domesticate them.

At this point though what if they're right and we're the schizos?

I have been to Bombay Beach which is in the same vein as Slab City. It's worth a visit but kinda depressing desu. It's like burned out methhead/junkies with a creative streak.

These pics are just from an adventure, I'm from Detroit, but shit happens here, shit happens there, just get the fuck off the couch and go live life man

>The area that is now Slab City was the artillery training range for the Camp.[6] It was first settled by a few veterans who had worked at the Marine base, followed later by drifters – then recreational vehicle owners, searching for free camping spots outside Palm Springs.
>Current residents refer to themselves as Slabbies while tourists are called Normies.[7]
based

moar cars kind sir. Love the pastel cadillac

I think that's pretty much all of the cars, this place isn't that big. And using something of value as art supplies I think was kind of the point
