NPCs are finally too tired, they can only be programmed to do so much at one time, and they demanded far too much too fast. The pendulum is starting to swing back; conservatives (not (((conservatives))) as the US speaks of them) must use the time they're about to have very wisely. Not only is there a lot of damage to be undone, but they have the opposite habit of kneeling far too easily to social pressure. The system of technology cannot hold their livelihoods over their heads if they want to enact real changes.
