For me, it was a cartoon about a monkey that was portraying obama. Basically discussions around it made me realize that leftists were evil and an existential threat to whites and needed to be opposed and destroyed.

Gamergate. I don't even play games anymore, but gamergate was what finally made me start to question what I was being taught. The dirty tricks they used such as claiming gamers just hate women despite the issue being one particular woman literally fucking us out of our money, and more importantly how fast my family believed the lies. It was really eye opening to see.
The only thing since that has been quite as intensely eye opening for me was the Rittenhouse trial.
