No, we actually don't even think that a mass shooting happening to us is even a remote possibility. Despite the media amplifying each mass shooting incident and making it seem extremely common, there is actually a very, very low chance the average American will ever experience a mass shooting. Most Americans know this and so don't even worry about it in their day-to-day lives. It's only the perpetually afraid that buy into all the fear mongering that wring their hands in dread and anxiety over the possibility of a mass shooting.

I carry concealed. I train with my firearm. I am a veteran. If a shooter decides to attack in my vicinity, he's going to go home in a box, period.
